We're seeking dependable Labourers to join our client's team in Cornwall and support a fast-paced renovation project. You'll join a well-respected contractor specializing in high-end home renovations, including complex demolition and reconstruction projects.

What We Offer:

Salary: $22/hour – Paid weekly.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM -5:00 PM
Duration: The more skills you bring to the table – the longer the potential work.

What You’ll Do:

Safely dismantle and remove walls, floors, ceilings, fixtures, and other building components.
Operate hand and power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) for demolition work.
Sort, load, and dispose of debris and recyclable materials according to site protocols.
Assist with site preparation, shoring, and cleanup before and after demolition.
Dig trenches, pour concrete, and assist in framing and building structures.
Perform basic carpentry, painting, and finishing work.
Read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
Conduct basic inspections on equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed.
Recognize and remedy unsafe work practices and situations.
Comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free worksite.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, coworkers, and other trades.
Mentor and motivate team members, contributing to a positive work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 1–3 years in construction, with demolition experience preferred.
Proficient with hand and power tools, Able to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments. Basic understanding of construction plans and safety protocols.
Reliable transportation to travel between job sites. Ability to work a full week with the possibility of overtime. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Working at Heights certification is preferred.
