We're seeking dynamic Machine Operators to join our client's team in the packing industry in Mississauga.

What We Offer:

Job Type: Permanent, full-time with benefits
Shift: Rotating bi-weekly, morning, afternoons and nights
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly rate: $21/hr.
Location: Mississauga, ON L4Y 1S1

What You’ll Do:

Operate Weber and Garant Machines, packaging at required dial speeds.
Prepare rolls and re-web machines.
Adjust machines.
Adjust slits, adjust/replace tucking blades, adjust and/or replace spots, and change coarse/fine knives.
Cut and install correct bottom pasters and maintain glue levels.
Work with shop floor software and perform labelling, counting, and palletizing.
Clean machines.
Achieve production targets.
Document and report.
Maintain quality control & assurance.
Identify and report variations and deviations.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience in the printing–packaging industry, experience on similar machines is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanically inclined and able to lift up-to 50 lbs.
Work Safely in accordance with all corporate and legislative Health & Safety standards and policies.
Attention to detail to accurately read production sheets, sample boards, and schedule lists.
Must pass a criminal check.
