We're seeking a Welder Fitter/TIG and MIG to join our client in London, a custom fabrication shop that has been in business for over 40 years!

What We Offer:

Shift/type: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Fridays, 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Overtime available!
Salary: $28-$32/hour (Based on experience).
Location: 20 minutes outside of London.
Permanent opportunity with benefits, vacation, investment program + shift premiums.

What You'll Do:

Weld(tack)/wire machines, plasma and gas cut, plate bevels. Operate 5” and 7” grinders. Replace wire rolls (33 to 44lbs) and lift steel up to 40 lbs (Using a crane for heavier jobs).
Ensure all parts comply with specifications and quality standards; segregate damaged parts and notify quality assurance.
Weld, fit, tack, and complete assigned orders.
Work from complex drawings; perform layouts and assembly of intricate fabrications and parts.
Ensure all parts are prefabricated, fit-up checks, complete ITP reports.
Operate torch cutting, grinding equipment, and manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
Final fit/polish of product, proper inspection of all weldments and fabricated parts as required.

What We're Looking For:

At least 2 years of experience plus must be certified as this is a Certified Shop.
Experience working with Carbon and Stainless Steel.
TIG is a must followed with MIG and Pipe Fitting.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, time management skills.
